Born in 1922 to a family of well-known hoteliers in Egypt. Began to paint at the age of 8 in his spare time alongside the luxurious hotel career he had until 1950 and since then dedicated all his painting. Immigrated to Israel in 1951 with his wife, Lust. He began his art studies with Italian and Greek artists from 1936 in Alexandria and later in 1956 studied art with Avraham Yaskil, Zvi Meirovitch and Moshe Propes.
Goldman uses his paintings in a wide range of colors that blend perfectly with each other. He uses a variety of techniques: oil, acrylic, aquarelle, gouache, tempera and pastel. His paintings are arranged in layers and layers, thus giving the viewer a sense of dynamism and depth. The subjects dealt with by Goldman are mostly the landscapes of Eretz Israel, the olive trees, Jerusalem and the Galilee, sometimes with Jewish themes.
Goldman's works have accompanied Israeli culture for more than 60 years. They depend on thousands of homes, cultural institutions and public institutions and are sold in all auction houses in Israel. Among the celebrities who purchased the works of Goldman: Heads of State and artists of international renown such as Frank Sinatra, Pat Bonn, Elizabeth Taylor, Anwar Sadat, Yitzhak Navon, Golda Meir, Ben Gurion, Zalman Shazar, Yitzhak Ben Zvi, Yehoram Gaon and more. His photos are also displayed in the walls of the President's Residence, in the Prime Minister's Residence and in leading museums and with many collectors in Israel and around the world.
Goldman died in 2011.
